Cambodia is located in south-east Asia and is bordered by Vietnam, Laos and Thailand. Today Cambodia is administered by the Royal Government of Cambodia after an internationally supervised election in 1993. It is totally safe, and welcomes visitors from all over the world, and many international businesses invest in Cambodia. The Capital, Phnom Penh, is a bustling and growing urban center.
It is a beautiful country with many tourist attractions, and there is something for everyoned. Siem Reap is known for the famous Angkor Wat temple complex, Sihanoukville has golden sand beaches, Battambang is a hidden city on the river, Kompong Thom is the heart of Cambodia, Kompong Cham is the agricultural heartland, near Kratie you can see the Irrawadi Dolphin, Mondolkiri is home to many hill-tribe people, and Ratanakiri has an abundance of wildlife.

When to go?
The best time to visit Cambodia is from Mid of October to March when humidity is bearable, temperatures are relatively cooler, and it's less likely to rain. From the middle of March, temperatures start to rise until the hottest month of April, when temperatures can exceed 40°C (104°F). The wet season starts from May with rain and high humidity until the start of October. Though being somewhat soggy, the rainy season can be a good time to visit Angkor as the moats are full, the foliage is green and lush, and the Tonle Sap Lake is at its highest. However, it is not advisable to go to the northeast region during these months, as the going gets pretty tough when the tracks turn to mud.

What to do?
Come to the town of Siem Reap where the majestic temples of Angkor literally rise out of the jungle, and you can explore the fantastic architecture of the Angkorian period. In the bustling city of Phnom Penh with its remaining French colonial buildings, you can marvel at the fine examples of Khmer sculpture, especially the beautifully depicted Hindu deities, in the National Museum. Visit the Hill tribes in Rattanakiri Province, and the city of Banlung, and see the unspoiled countryside around the sleepy town of Sen Monorom in Mondolkiri Province. Take a trip to Battambang where you can see the daily life of the people, and learn about the Khmer Rouge regime by visiting Phnom Sampeo. In Battambang you can also experience the unique and fun bamboo railway. If you are looking for relaxation, Sihanoukville with its long sandy beaches and laid-back lifestyle is where you should head. Another promising destination is Kep where you can explore Rabbit Island with your own private beach, then take an adventure up to Bokhor Hill, and spend some time in the lovely little town of Kampot. These are just a few of the amazing things you can do in the Kingdom of Wonder.
