Trip Tips:
Cambodia is a very tropical country, and the sun can get quite fierce. Especially if you are doing a lot of walking around visiting temples, swimming or other outdoor activities, you will get a lot of sun exposure. It is advisable to bring a hat or other headgear, and sun block.

When you have free time in Phnom Penh, and if you are interested in contemporary art, check out the many art galleries there now. Phnom Penh has a budding art scene, and some of the galleries have very interesting work. You can find more information about these galleries in guidebooks about Phnom Penh


Day 01: Phnom Penh Arrival
Today you arrive in Phnom Penh, and you will be met by our staff and taken to your hotel. After check-in and getting settled, you will have free time for leisure activities. Overnight in Phnom Penh hotel.

Day 02: Phnom Penh City Tour
After breakfast, we drive out to see Beoung Cheoung Ek Memorial Museum (the Killing Fields), and then visit the Tuol Sleng Museum. At about 10:00am there is a documentary film about Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge regime and the atrocities committed against their own people. In the afternoon, tours include visits to the National Museum, Wat Phnom, and the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. Over night in Phnom Penh hotel. Breakfast included.

Day 03: Phnom Penh - Mekong River
Breakfast at the hotel, then we take a boat trip to Koh Darchh Island to see the life of the people living along the river. We also walk around the village and visit a community craft workshop. Beside fishing and farming, the people there have the professional skill to make quality products for sale in the local market. Time permitting, we will also go to the Russian Market for shopping Overnight in Phnom Penh hotel. Breakfast included.

Day 04: Phnom Penh - Kompong Cham
After breakfast, we drive to the agricultural town of Kompong Cham to see Phnom Bros and Phnom Srei, and then check in to your hotel. In the afternoon there is a visit to a Rubber Plantation at Chup, and we also visit the bamboo bridge of Koh Pan. Overnight in Kompong Cham hotel. Breakfast included.

Day 05: Kompong Cham - Kopong Thom - Siem Reap
In the morning after breakfast, we head for Siem Reap, by way of Kompong Thom where we visit the Pre- Angkorean Complex of Ishanapura. The Sambor Prei Kok group was built in 7th century and dedicated to the god Shiva. Then it is on to Siem Reap for check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap hotel. Breakfast included.
Day 06: Siem Reap - AngkorTemples
For those early risers, there is a pre-dawn trip to watch the sunrise over Angkor. Then back to the hotel for breakfast. This morning we explore the Angkor Thom complex and jungle temple of Ta Promh, overgrown with vines and large trees. In the afternoon we return to Angkor Wat and see the sunset at the Pre Rup Temple. Overnight in Siem Reap hotel. Breakfast included.

Day 07: Siem Reap - AngkorTemples
After breakfast, we drive out of Siem Reap through the rural countryside to the temple of Banteay Srei. The name Banteay Srei means the Citadel of Woman, and is constructed of pink sandstone, and decorated with ornate stone carvings. On the way back from Banteay Srei , we visit the temple of Banteay Samrei. In the afternoon we explore the floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake and observe a unique way of life on the water. Overnight in Siem Reap hotel. Breakfast included.

Day 08: Siem Reap Departure
Breakfast at the hotel, then free time until your departure transfer. Breakfast included.

Note: Check-out time is 12:00 noon. End of Trip.
